Salix Funding
Salix Funding was set up in 2004, as an independent publicly funded organisation to activley encourage the public sector to invest in energy efficient technologies by introducing ‘invest-to-save’ schemes.
Salix has funding from the Carbon Trust and has issued financal help across the public sector including Local Authorities, NHS Foundation Trusts, Higher and Further Educational facilities and Central Government.
The 2009 Budget has meant additional financial assistance has been allocated to the public sector. Over 51.5m will be made available for various energy saving related investment projects.
